Most people will point you to May of '77, an amazing if not overexposed month in GD history. '72-'74 can be a little spacey at times but lots of gooey goodness in there. I'm not a big fan of the '80s but Summer '85 is pretty nice. For newbie 'accessibility' though I'd recommend anything from March '90 and June '91. Hard to find a clunker in those months. My 'desert island' shows:

5/11/72
2/9/73
2/24/74
2/26/77
5/8/77
3/29,3/30/90
6/14,6/17/91

Boy, what a loaded question...

I've been listening to October '68 recently. What a high point! But of course, I guess it depends what yer into.

5/8/77 is a must, of course.

I love 3/1/69.

Yup, just about anything from 68. February through March 1969 there were so many great shows. Most shows from the Capitol Theater, Portchester in '70 and '71.
Forget it... we could be here all night.

I agree we could be here all night. This may be a little off topic but does anyone know if a soundboard exists of Shoreline 9/18/94 I would love a sbd of that So many Roads.
